Dear Zlata - what’s in your basket?

I’m often moving between meetings and different projects, so my basket usually carries my laptop, a notebook, headphones (always), and a book I’m currently reading.

What’s your favourite thing about your Rayas basket(s)?

That it fits everything I need throughout the day - and more. From work essentials to my workout clothes and a water bottle, it adapts to whatever the day brings.

How do you express personal style?

For me, it starts with well-made staples - a perfectly fitting pair of denim or a soft cashmere sweater and then adding character through accessories: jewellery, printed shoes, a statement bag, or a Rayas basket for a fun pop of colour. 

What do you carry with you every day, beyond what’s in your basket?

A sense of curiosity and awareness. I like to stay open to what’s around me - visually, culturally, emotionally, it’s where a lot of inspiration comes from.

What does the world need less of? More of?

Less noise and constant rush. More intention, depth, and genuine connection.

What is your favourite thing to come home to?

The feeling of being able to fully slow down.

What’s the last place you travelled to that left a mark?

Istanbul -  a city I keep coming back to. The culture, the history, the food, it’s endlessly rich and layered.
